I am presently a Support Worker in the health and social science sector with a broad experience in different degrees of learning disability, brain injury Rehabilitation, Autism, Challenging Behaviours, Epilepsy.
I have worked with young people as a role model and leader guiding them into developing their talents and engaging in community activities. I have had a stint in fathers support work where children with absentee fathers are supported in the time of crisis.
I originally was in the engineering and manufacturing sector. I studied Agricultural Engineering at the University of Ilorin and graduated with a B.Eng and started practicing as an engineer in the design, fabrication and installation of storage and processing equipment, civil structures and industrial kitchen equipment for major companies like Nigeria Breweries, Raw Material Research and Development Council, Chevron, Chicken Republic, MTN and Glo Mobile. This role has taken me through contract bidding, procurement and site management from 1997 to 2006. I also did a bit of steel fixing at a UK distribution centre in Milton Keynes, army barracks in Andover and a police station in Maidenhead between 2007 and 2008.
